Registered Nurse (RN) Job Description
We are looking for a Registered Nurse who has experience specifically in Home Health and not necessarily nursing home
Looking for someone to do Starts of Care with Oasis (we will train) using a tablet device not paper so some tech friendliness would be also necessary. Starts of Care are done at the patients home so some local commuting on those days
Our office is located in Boca Raton we are Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm with major holidays off and PTO and Sick days immediately
Our front desk girl and Administrator are great and very helpful
become our Director of Nursing

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Provides guidance and counseling to coordinators and Clinical Supervisors to assist them
in continually improving all aspects of home health care services, provided through
organization personnel.
• Provides regular performance reviews, take appropriate job actions, review job actions taken by subordinates to assure that staff meet qualification and performance standards and perform all essential functions of their respective jobs.
• Maintain current skills and knowledge through continuing education and apply
information to job responsibilities.
• Supervises development of in-service education programs designed to equip nursing staff with sufficient knowledge and skills to provide nursing and nursing related services to each client.
• Oversees the maintenance of patient clinical records, statistics, reports and records for
purposes of evaluation and reporting of organization activities.
• Responsible for the maintenance of adequate and appropriate inventory supplies and
equipment for the provision of patient services
• Provides timely and professional customer service, verify discrepancies by and resolve patient issues, answer questions from patients, facility staff, and third-party vendors
• Follows HIPAA guidelines when accessing and sharing patient information
• Maintains patient and business confidentiality
• In the absence of the Administrator, the Clinical Director will become the acting
Administrator and will be vested with authority to act on behalf of the Administrator.
• If functioning as Clinical Manager, would provide oversight of all patient care services and
personnel including making patient and personnel assignments; coordinating patient care;
coordinating referrals; assuring patient needs are continually assessed: and assuring the
development, implementation, and updates of the individualized plan of care.
• Facilitates audits by providing records and documentation to auditors.
