Registered Nurse (RN) Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and resourceful Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team.
We offer hourly rate for assessments and supervisory visits.
Responsibilities for home care nurse:
• Performs nursing assessments and creating individualized plans of care for clients.
• Reviews and revises assignment plan as necessary to meet the client's needs as per agency policy.
• Ensures continuing review of client files to ensure that documentation state regulatory guidelines.
• Completes and submits assessment paperwork in a timely and organized manner.
• Assisting with assessing the competency and performance of Home Health Aides.
• Oversight on HHA performance, conduct supervisory visit for client and staff, respond to inquiries from field staff and provide solutions.
• Provide education and instruction to field staff as required.
• Client Management – Assure that assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation of client care follow policy, procedure, and standard of care.
• Demonstrated ability exercise independent judgement.
• Demonstrated interpersonal skills to communicate well with clients, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary team effectively and appropriately.
QUALIFICATIONS
1. Valid Georgia Registered Nurse License
2. Bachelor’s degree is preferred
3. Minimum two years of Home Care or Home Health and supervisory experience.
4. Must have a minimum of one year nursing experience within the last 36 months.
5. Must have current CPR / BLS certification
6. Valid Driver's License and Vehicle Insurance
7. Must have a clean criminal history background check
8. Current satisfactory Fingerprint Record
9. Current negative TB test
