Temporary RN Supervisor

The Village at Morrisons Cove, a long term care facility in Martinsburg, PA, is currently seeking to hire a full time, * temporary* RN Supervisor for 2nd shift. This will be a 12 consecutive week contract. The qualified candidate will possess 1-2 years long term care experience, a current PA Registered Nurse license in good standing, the ability to multi-task and work independently as well as strong communication skills. This is a management level position that will be responsible for: conducting unit rounds to assess condition changes in residents, monitor the compliance of resident care plans, communicate resident condition/care changes with staff, family and physicians, accept and communicate physician orders, round with physicians, supervises the admission, discharge and death of residents, oversight of staff and overall management of facility during shift, along with other duties as assigned. This role requires every other weekend, holidays and an on-call component. The selected candidate will be paid at the highest wage scale level for the position AND be eligible for a sign on bonus of up to $5,000 ($2,500 to be paid upon hire and $2,500 to be paid at the completion of the contract). This individual will be hired as an employee of the VMC, so will be covered by worker's compensation and will receive a w2 for their time worked.
