Registered Nurse (RN) Job Description
We have an urgent need for a small team of experienced RNs and LVNs for a case in the Santa Maria area. This case requires 16hrs of nursing care, 7 days a week. Each shift will be 8 hours long & NOC shift availability is highly preferred but not required. Nurse must be comfortable working with a 10 month old and have current infant CPR certification. Patient is not in critical condition. **Successful candidates will be required to attend orientation and required trainings at our Santa Barbara office** Nurse Benefits: Competitive pay dependent on license (LVN or RN) and experience Ask how to qualify for a $300 Signing Bonus 100% Employer paid Medical (MEC Basic), Dental, Vision, Life Insurance for employees that qualify Paid Sick/Time Off Flexible schedule to fit your lifestyle Per Diem, both Full-Time and Part-Time hours available Weekly, monthly, and annual bonus programs Employee Referral Programs (earn up to $150) Weekly pay/direct deposit Free CEU’s classes by CE Instructor Nurse Job Responsibilities: Perform care as defined by the client’s Plan of Care and within the scope of the state’s nurse practice act Monitor patient’s condition and notify appropriate personnel of any changes Provide those services requiring substantial and specialized nursing skill Assures proper maintenance of clinical records in compliance with local, state, and federal laws Counsels the client and family in meeting nursing and related needs Nurse Requirements: Current unrestricted / unencumbered license as a Registered Nurse or LVN in the State of California Must have graduated from a National League of Nursing accredited program Minimum (1) year of documented clinical experience Covid-19 Vaccination Self-directing with the ability to work with little direct supervision Certified Infant CPR and negative TB skin test or chest x-ray Licensed driver with reliable and insured automobile (proof of insurance required) Adhere to HIPAA and ensure confidentiality and security of the client’s medical information Experienced with feeding tubes, ventilators, family education, medication administration Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English and communicate effectively Must be able to stand walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push and pull. Varied assistance is required depending on the mobility of the client.
