Registered Nurse (RN) Job Description
RN CLINICAL MANAGER URGENTLY HIRING (2 CM openings) Minimum 3 years clinical experience in home health & at least one year of supervisory or management experience. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Supervise selection and assignment of staff, ensuring equal employment opportunity in hiring and promotion. Direct and coordinates activities by scheduling work assignments, setting priorities, and directing the work of RN Staff Nurses, LPNs and other subordinate health care employees. In charge of planning, evaluation, development and modification of treatment programs based on information gathered by observing and interviewing patients, or by analyzing patient records. Supervise and submits evaluation and recommendation of staff nurses, LPNs and other subordinate health care employees’ performance through the review of completed work assignments and work techniques. Develop and maintain departmental policies, procedures, objectives or patient care standards based on evidence-based practice guidelines or expert opinion. In charge of identifying and conceptualization of staff development and training needs and ensures that training is obtained. Supervises and maintains EMR, prepares reports, and composes correspondence relative to the work. Directs, participates and recommends in overall high level planning and assessment activities to determine individual patient and overall program needs. Provides consultative services to the nursing staff working directly with clients in the nursing care areas. Maintains awareness of advances in nursing care practices. Evaluates the quality and effectiveness of nursing practices or organizational systems. Serves as a resource person to home care nurses and other related professional staff in the provision of patient treatment plans. Minimum Qualifications: Clinical Staff are required to submit a: Copy of state of Virginia practice license(s) and/or certifications Copy of current Neg.PPD , Covid Vaccinated optional. Copy of current BLS or other specialty certifications as necessary (At hire and current) Education, Experience: Training: Minimum 3 years clinical experience in home health, medical, surgical, or critical care desired. At least one year of supervisory or management experience. Previous experience developing and implementing clinical protocols, clinical education operating programs and systems. Previous experience delivering IV therapy and wound care in an acute care setting. Computer skills: Kinnser or other Electronic Medical records (EMR) or other reporting system preferred. COMPENSATIN; Salaried position from $90+ (NOT HOURLY)
