I was in an emergency situation where I could not move from the local FD I entered the ER. Thereafter, I was admitted into the hospital.. From the foundation on up to the surgeon, communication was always clean, smooth and direct. Maintenance all the way up to the doctors were always courteous, kind and understanding. Each of the nurses were understanding and nurtured me to gain some of my mobility back. The care staff always make sure to ask me if I was OK if I needed anything always explained each step of the process stayed until I understood each phase of planned recovery. The their recovery spaces were always well. Kept the maintenance staff always made sure to enter with permission considering I was recovering. Every staff member was kind courteous and always asked if I was OK and if I need anything and ready to answer any question. The nursing staff from the CNA‘s all the way up to the RN made me feel as if I was under my mother‘s direct care. Extremely nurturing, caring, attentive, and also at times teaching me within the pace of my abilities. I can honestly say that from my personal experience, this location is one of the best representations that humanity. Despite everything that’s going on in the world still does exist, Medical staff made it seem that in my instance, the patient comes first.. They never made me feel forgotten, but always made me feel like I was cared for similar to as if I was their own family member. I can honestly say if a parent were to have a child enter into adult world and God forbid something would happen if they were to end up in Alhambra Hospital Medical Center they would be fine and under supervision of a well oiled machine staff to make sure you meet your understandable expectation of your recovery. If there ever was a dream team where Kobe Bryant actually got to play alongside of LeBron James Alhambra Hospital mimicked that for me and made Hospital under a scary situation felt like I was safe to heal and Release back into the world.
The ER in this hospital is one of the best I have been to. Everyone from the front staff to the attending doctors and nurses just get to business. They have taken care of my dad and saved my mom when her own hospital ER couldn't. And they talk to you like a normal person. I just can't say enough good things about this ER. Just one of the best around.
My aunt was rushed to the ER due to stomach pain the nurses Took well care of her Comforting her and checking up on her. Excellent service
Excellent ER but Terrible Hospital to be admitted into! My Mom has Cancer and was recently in the hospital for 3 Weeks...Out of All her nurses Only about 3 were attentive and kind. Majority of the staff was Incompetent and Rude and unhelpful.. One of her Nurses kept getting humped by an older custodian in her room when They thought she was too out of it to notice...SHE NOTICED!! Completely Disrespectful and Unprofessional!! My mom was in tears saying she never felt so uncared for and so Dismissed as The way they made her feel!! If you need urgent care I would recommend the ER but if you're going to be admitted, go to another Hospital!! All the issues that she was having and the pain that she had and they didn't want to keep her We had a fight to keep her in the hospital, She was transferred to a nursing facility only for the nursing facility to send her back to the hospital the same night!! This was like her third or fourth time being admitted into this Hospital in The past couple of years Because it was an ambulance transport and it was the closest hospital to her home, and all of her experiences were bad but this one was the utmost worst!!
Some of the doctors and staff are pretty incompetent. My grandma was in so much pain, and they said that her blood pressure and heart were stable so they couldn't move her back to the ICU. Some of the staff, were slow and dragging their feet when her blood pressure would drop. They said if the alarm went off for her low blood pressure, to press a button for the alarm to shut off. Two doctors said two different things to my mother and her sister anout my grandmothers condition. At onw point her infection was gone, and then another doctor said it was not and still lingering. There was no communication amongst the doctors and staff. My grandma passed away in pain surrounded by a staff that were too slow to react. I understand that there are a lot of patients maybe? Or that they may be short staffed? But a little compassion and a sense of urgency would have been nice. Some of the night nurses were kind and made us feel reassured that they would take care of her. But the other nurses and doctors? Do your jobs and communicate better with your patients' concern or needs.
