Staff members here are consistently rude and act as if they don’t even want to be at work. They have been especially disrespectful toward my mom simply because she advocates for my grandmother. It’s ridiculous that when a family actually shows up, asks questions, and cares, they act irritated. Yet when a family doesn’t show up or care, they talk about them too. You can’t win with this staff. They even tried to place my grandmother on hospice when she is nowhere near end-of-life. That alone shows a serious lack of proper assessment and compassion. Anyone with a loved one in a facility would advocate the same way we do. The front desk is just as unprofessional. The younger woman sits there laughing, staring people down, and playing on her phone—very odd behavior for someone working in a healthcare setting. The older woman at the desk is rude every time, both on the phone and in person. The overall energy from multiple employees is unprofessional and trifling, and it reflects poorly on the entire facility. A place that is supposed to care for vulnerable elders should not be run like this. Many of these employees clearly need to be replaced with people who actually have compassion, professionalism, and basic respect. And honestly, I cannot wait until I pass my boards so I can remove both of my family members from this establishment. The lack of care, urgency, and human decency here is unbelievable. Once I’m licensed, my family will never have to deal with this facility again.

Hearthstone nursing home is terrible they say they're kind they're nice that's a lie, they're rude they are nasty unprofessional. When I got my loved one there they were kind and helpful as soon as I signed papers left not even a week later they show their true colors. I would not put my elder in that nursing home. 10 years ago they were a good facility now the people that is running it and the nurses and the Aid are uncaring and disrespectful talk to the patient any kind of way. When my loved one ask to warm up his food. They said you should have ate your food we don't have time to warm your food up who does that to a elderly. When they ask for fruit they say they don't have it. I have experience when i have come unannounced, I I see the nurse and aid sitting around talking amoug themselves doing nothing, when they need their diapers change or any needs like warming up food, they take lots of time to come or sometimes they don't come or don't even come my loved have told me many times my loved one wants to leave I and if any one knows a good place reach out to me please Praying over Hearthstone, Hearthstone is stone evil.

I recently visited the Home at Hearthstone to visit a resident. Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. Upon entering, I noticed staff members huddled together and not attentive to the residents. The resident I visited was in a dark room, and his care needs were not being met, including an unclean condition and an unpleasant odor. As a home health aide, I expect certain standards of care, and unfortunately, this facility did not meet those expectations. I would not recommend it for loved ones.

The staff really care about the residents here. They are always doing fun activities with them. The food is also better than I have seen at other facilities. The memory care floor manager is great.

My experience with Home of Hearthstone has always been pleasant. The staff is helpful, polite and caring. My brother-in-law, who is a resident, always brags about how good the meals are. The nurses are very helpful and make sure he comfortable. They have several activities throughout the year where family is included. We are grateful and have piece of mind knowing his well-being is in good hands.
