Everyone is super friendly and it’s always very clean. My mother is very happy there! Everyone treat my mom like she is family! I like how the patients have the freedom to go to the patio area when ever they want. I feel blessed to have my mom in such a great facility!
Please do not send your love ones to this facility for the record I want anyone who looks at this to know that what happened my mom at Maywood,, They lost her dentures, her glasses, her $6000 hearing aids, all of her clothing and her brand new iPhone…. and they have no accountability. The person that runs the place, he is only there three days a week, and then he runs another facility three Days a week,, so he’s making double salary, and then to boot they overcharged Medi-Cal on a regular basis every month but yet Medicare doesn’t want to know about it because they don’t care! And lastly, it’s so bad there that my mother’s Ombudsman didn’t help her one bit because the problems there or so systemic!! Please don’t send them to this facility. You will regret it.
My sister stayed there for 3 months. She needed IV, wound care, and physical therapy to help her walk. The staff loved her and she loved the staff. The medical doctors come often and monitored everything. My sister is strong again and healthy thanks to the wonderful care. I communicated with staff and office, operator, and social services very kind when I call.
My dad was placed here because he had Parkinson's & dementia, and it was such a awful experience for him and our family. The minute we complained about the poor treatment he received they made up a false story saying he was aggressive toward the nurses & transferred him out with a 51/50. Truth be told, they stole his belongings that his family purchased, were verbally abusive to him, changed his medication without our consent, and made up a false story to remove him. The young adults who watch over the elderly at the front door are typically under the influence & at times smelled like marijuana. Please don't put your family members here.
Great place to recover at. Very caring staff. Everyone does a great job. Food is pretty good they also serve snacks. Rehab department works with you in what ever you need to get well and up on your feet They have a transportation department to take you to any appointments you might have or even to the store to get what ever you need. Business office keeps your insurance straight so you don’t have to worry Great place to recover at no matter what you have gone thru. They are there to help you the best they can no need to worry about anything but getting well and back on your feet. You won’t find a better staff of caring peuple to make your stay a wonderful experience. FIVE STARS
