If I could give a 0 I would. The building is old, broken down and dirty. My brother said there was mice in his room. The furniture is old and worn. When my brother came into the facility he was wearing shoes that went missing, new clothes were bought for him and they went missing, there were two pairs of underwear left in his drawer one pair was his and another was someone else's with their name on it. My brother slept in his clothes and when laundry came back he would change them out and sleep in the next set of clean clothes. Until the next laundry shift came through he would wear the same clothes day in and day out. No one followed up with him and helped him make good choices despite having dementia and needing these cues. However when your clothes go missing it's hard to have anything to change into! Clothes were left for him and those clothes had been stolen. When I was there visiting we tried to figure out who was who for staff. They never knew where my brother was. If you could find any staff you were lucky. If you saw staff they were huddled around the nursing station talking amongst themselves. No one greeted you or checked in with you or my brother. There were no places comfortable to sit and visit. We ended up using the dining room. But there was no places in his room or any where else to sit and just have a conversation. There is very minimal interaction from the staff with the residents. There were people walking in the hall but you could tell they were family members. At one point my brother broke the window and left the building and the staff had no idea he had even done that. He had walked around the building and knocked on the door to come back in. Had he not done that who knows where he would have gone. But no one would have seen him because they didn't even hear the window break. This place is terrible and the state needs to step in. Do not send your loved ones here.

Listen to me. Please, and I cannot stress this enough: IF YOU HAVE A CHOICE, DO NOT SEND YOUR LOVED ONES HERE. It's dirty, dim and run down. The staff isn't rude or mean, but they don't seem to try very hard at their jobs. My grandmother was having an outright medical crisis and no one bothered to intervene. She's been in extreme pain and needed medical intervention. She told them as much. They did nothing. Had i not been available to get personally involved, they likely would've waited to act until it was too late. When we tried to hold them accountable, we were hung up on. I had to take her to the hospital myself because they ignored her. These people do not deserve to call themselves a care facility. They do not care at all. They don't care about you, your family, or what happens to your relatives. If YOU care, AVOID AT ALL COSTS. We will be getting her out of their care ASAP.

Aperion Care of the Arbors has taken care of both my Aunt and Grandmother. They have always communicated with me every time something is ordered and even call to tell the results when they’re normal. I work as a nurse and this facility and their staff have my full confidence. I will continue to use this facility as my family ages. Every time I visit, my grandmother is always clean and taken care of, as much as I wish she could be home but with my work schedule I do not have the resources to provide in home care. She is also much safer at the facility and I never have to worry about where she goes. Myself and my family are truly thankful for all of the staff at Aperion Care of the Arbors! God Bless you ALL!

The nurses on the 400 rooms r the greatest Angie, Camille, Theresa, Jackie were the greatest. They kept ur spirit up all the time. I was upset this was a workman comp stay and it could of worked into more for them. I didn't feel it was handled good by the lead man there it was more like a money thing for him.
