I love this place for anyone looking for great physical rehabilitation. My husband spent 45 days there, and he arrived unable to walk or get out of bed. It was thanks to that wonderful nursing team, care, physical therapy, occupational therapy, all the food preparation staff, the cleaning staff, and reception staff that helped him. To everybody thank you for your wonderful service.

No Follow-Up, No Compassion My mother was admitted to Sapphire for "Respite care on July 17th, a short term stay that was suppose to be for 10 days, which only lasted 5 days, perfectly healthy and fine prior to admission. Just days later, she was sent to the hospital for allegedly low hemoglobin, where she was given four pints of blood and diagnosed severe weakness and lack of physical mobility. She was discharged home on July 27th, but I never received a follow-up call from the facility about her condition or transition of care or well being. While there, they fed her puréed food despite her not needing it. When I came to collect her belongings, everything was seperated in boxes in the basement,in which I had wait for environmental service to retrieve, her room was already cleared, and I was quickly dismissed. It felt as though my mother was tossed out and her bed immediately made ready for another patient. This lack of compassion, communication, and professionalism left me deeply disappointed. Families trust facilities like this to care for their loved ones, and follow-up and respect should be part of that care. Unfortunately, that was not my experience. This is exactly my biggest fear in entrusting long-term care facilities, even though at the time it was my only resource for her care.
