We are looking for two compassionate and reliable Residential Specialists (Caregivers) to join our team of Direct Support Professionals (DSP). Your small and dedicated team provides direct care and supervision to clients with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a beautiful residential setting – empowering them to be their best! PAY INCREASE + BONUS AFTER 90 DAYS! Now Hiring: Residential Specialist I Mondays-Fridays; 2:30pm-8:30pm AND Saturday AND/OR Sunday; 8am-8pm (OT included - shift flexible) Residential Specialist II Mondays-Wednesdays; SPLIT 5:30am-7:30am_ AND_ 2:30pm-8:30pm Alternative: Wednesdays-Sundays; SPLIT 5:30am-7:30am AND 2:30pm-8:30pm AND Saturday_ AND _Sunday; 8am,-8pm Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent (At least 18 years old) Ability to pass prescreening exams and background check CPR and First Aid certification within 30 days of hire The Ideal Candidate Will: Have experience as a caregiver or direct support professional in a residential setting Have DSP, BHT, or CNA certification (higher wages) What We Offer: Competitive salary and benefits commensurate with experience Pay increase after 90 days Regular performance evaluations, bonuses, and opportunities for compensation increases Opportunities for educational reimbursements Room for growth A Typical Day Might Include: Assisting with daily living skills including grooming, hygiene, bathing, toileting, feeding and mobility Assisting your team in the design, implementation, and evaluation of ISPs Providing support and motivation to reach individual goals and objectives Facilitating meaningful activities that cater to the individual’s interests and preferences Managing medications and medical protocols Attending regular DSP staff meetings and in-service trainings Working in a multi-disciplinary team of like-minded individuals Other duties as assigned by the Behavior Specialist
