Caregiver Job Description
Eminent Quality Care, LLC and Adult Family Homes are a rapidly growing organization currently operating five Adult Family Homes. We have recently acquired our sixth four-bedroom Adult Family Home, which is expected to open within the next 90 days. Our team serves older adults and/or individuals with disabilities who are functionally, physically, and/or socially impaired and require 24-hour oversight and care. We are actively seeking candidates for the 1st (8:00 AM – 8:00 PM) and 3rd Shift (8:00 PM - 8:00 AM), including rotating holidays and weekends, to join our essential team and deliver exceptional resident care.
Available Shifts
• 1st Shift (8:00 AM - 8:00 PM): Flexibility is required, as you may be assigned to any of our five locations between the hours of 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM. Shifts will vary and there is no set schedule or location; hours may include 8:00 AM - 2:00 PM, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM, 2:00 PM - 8:00 PM, or 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM as needed. Candidates must be able to multitask efficiently. Key responsibilities include passing and entering medications, meal preparation, conducting activities, cooking, managing the home, and providing excellent customer service when interacting with professional guests. Additional essential skills include bathing assistance, accurate charting, and effective communication.
• 3rd Shift (8:00 PM - 8:00 AM): Responsibilities include cooking breakfast, performing deep cleaning of the home, ensuring that food, household supplies, and medications are stocked, and providing attentive care throughout the shift. Candidates must remain awake during the entire shift to provide proper care.
• Weekend Shift: Rotating Saturday and Sunday, 8:00 AM - 8:00 PM.

Job Responsibilities
As a Resident Assistant, you will assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) and instrumental activities of daily living (IADLs).
Qualifications & Experience
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications and experience:
• Prior caregiving experience in Adult Family Home, long-term care, at home, or in a commercial setting, or CNA certification, especially providing care to individuals with developmental disabilities and/or elderly individuals, is highly preferred.
• Preference for individuals with at least one year of experience in medication administration.
• Ability to show empathy and compassion when managing challenging behaviors.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and able to follow written instructions.
• Self-motivated with a strong drive to complete tasks and ensure resident well-being.
• Ability to work independently and manage the facility with minimal oversight.
• Professional pride in both personal standards and providing care for others.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
• MUST HAVE COMPUTER SKILLS and ECP (or electronic monitoring charting) experience. Must be able to use modern technology including cell phones, computers, internet, as well as proficiency in typing, copying, faxing, scanning, and emailing.
3rd Shift - Experience/Qualifications
• MUST BE ABLE TO STAY UP DURING 3RD SHIFT TO PROVIDE AWAKE CARE.

Requirements - The position requires:
• Passing a TB test (lab, skin test, or X-ray)
• State of Wisconsin Department of Justice Caregiver and Criminal Background check
• TMU/DHS Caregiver Misconduct check and Wisconsin Training Registry – UW Green Bay
Salary: $14.00 per hour, No less than 36 hours per week, 72-hours per pay period
