Caregiver Job Description
We are seeking compassionate, experienced caregivers who are passionate about helping others to join our team of Angels. CNAs, LVNs, and HHAs welcomed! We provide non-medical in-home care for seniors and disabled individuals so they can remain in their homes. Our caregiver services range from simple companionship and personal care to more complex cases when care is needed for someone living with chronic disease, stroke, or recovering from surgery. Care expectations for our Angels: • Compassionate companionship • Personal care – showering, dressing, wash & comb hair • Meal preparation and grocery shopping • Light housekeeping • Take clients on outings and run errands • Respite care for families of clients • Lifting & transferring of clients from wheelchair or bed (we train on all care tools) • Brief changes and toileting help • Medication reminders Visiting Angels works hard to match our caregivers with clients who are compatible with their skill level and personality and we schedule our caregivers for as many or as few hours as they desire. Our caregivers are recognized for their work regularly, and we offer shift bonuses for fill-in work.
