Job Summary: CNA/Caregiver duties- caring for a bedbound client in their home that would need continuous mobility assistance, Total: wheelchair assist, bathing assist, dressing assist, personal hygiene care. There is light housekeeping, light laundry, bed linen changes, errands and keeping a safe environment for the client. Additional training can be provided. This is a full-time position with benefits, Candidate must be willing to take the complete shift: Monday - Saturday, 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM (This is a continuous ongoing shift that does not have an specified end date.) Must have valid driver's license, your own personal, reliable vehicle with full coverage auto insurance Non-Smoker preferred Must be willing to do client transportation and errands Must have at least 1 year or more paid work experience working with the geriatric population, intellectual development disorder or similar care and responsibilities. Working with clients that are bedbound and have wheelchair and transferring experience. Ability to use gait belt and/or Hoyer Lift preferred or willingness to learn. Must maintain required yearly training/education as mandated by agency Must be able to do required documenting on a daily basis Must have moderate computer and cell phone skills. Must be able to monitor client's health status and report any changes that would require attention Physical Requirements: Ability to participate in physical activity. Ability to work for extended period of time while standing, walking and being involved in physical activity. Moderate lifting and repositioning of client. Ability to do extensive bending, lifting, standing and moving on a regular basis.
