Caregiver Job Description
Location: Serving clients across the Bay Area, including San Jose, Sunnyvale, Santa Clara, Fremont, Palo Alto, Los Altos, Cupertino, and San Francisco
Job Type: On-Call / Per Diem (Opportunities for extended shifts or long-term assignments may be available)

Position Overview:
We are currently hiring HCA-certified Caregivers for on-call shifts based on client and facility needs. This is a flexible position, ideal for caregivers who are available on short notice and comfortable working in a variety of care environments.
⚠️ Please note: This is a per diem/on-call position. While we have regular shift needs, shifts are not guaranteed on a daily basis. We offer opportunities for extended assignments and full-time placements when available.
Key Responsibilities:
Duties may vary by client but often include:
Assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, and hygiene
Companionship and emotional support
Meal preparation and feeding assistance
Light housekeeping and laundry
Medication reminders
Mobility assistance and fall prevention
Client monitoring and documentation
Following facility or home-specific care plans and direction from supervising staff
Requirements:
Active Home Care Aide (HCA) registration with the State of California
Minimum 1 year of caregiving experience
Facility experience is preferred but not required
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Dependable transportation and willingness to travel to different cities for shifts
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Pay Rate:
$22 – $25/hour, depending on:
Number of clients per shift
Shift length/duration
Number of locations covered in a single shift
Schedule:
On-call / Per diem
Shifts may be day, evening, overnight, or weekend
Schedules vary based on client needs and location
