Responsibilities
• Assists residents with all ADL’s.
• Follow bowel and bladder program. .
• Answer all door and gate alarms immediately.
• Observes and reports unusual symptoms, changes, accidents and injuries to the Charge Nurse.
• Encourages residents to attend scheduled activities and outings.
• Observes and upholds resident rights at all times.
• Relate to residents in a courteous, understanding and cooperative manner.
• Must be willing to work with staff from all departments.
• Performs other related duties as directed by supervisor.
Qualifications and Education
• Previous experience working with elderly.
• Must be mature individual.
• High School education or equivalent desired.
• Must enjoy working with the elderly.
• Must be honest, dependable, and possess good personal habits.
• Must be able to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
