Certified Medication Technician (CMT) Job Description
Pierz Villa is seeking compassionate and dedicated Trained Medication Aides to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for administering medications and providing essential care to residents in our 45 bed skilled nursing home. Your expertise will contribute to the well-being of individuals with various needs.
Job Description:
Administer prescribed medications to residents in accordance with established protocols and regulations. Monitor residents for any side effects or adverse reactions to medications and report findings to nursing staff. Assist with daily living activities, ensuring the comfort and dignity of each resident. Maintain accurate medical documentation, including medication administration records and vital signs. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans. Provide support in tube feeding, catheter care, and other specialized medical procedures as needed. Uphold HIPAA regulations by ensuring the confidentiality of patient information at all times. Engage with residents in meaningful ways, fostering a supportive environment that enhances their quality of life.
Qualifications:
Must already be a Certified Nursing Assistant listed on the MN Nursing Registry. Must have successfully completed of the state approved medication administration course. Must be able to perform essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation. Must be able to take written and verbal instruction from supervisors. Must be able to communicate with resident's, visitors and staff. Must qualify for employment, after criminal background check.

Currently available: Full-time and Part-time-position various shifts; will pay for experience. We offer shift differentials evenings, overnights, and weekends.
The compensation for this position is $20.09-$26.06 per hour, determined by relevant experience and skills.
