We are currently looking for reliable and responsible Certified Nursing Assistants (also known as Home Health Aides here at Reach) to staff cases in Houston and surrounding areas. We are currently looking for reliable and responsible Home Health Aides to staff cases in and around Houston. Responsibilities include: - Provide hands-on individualized care to the elderly according to the Aide Care Plan and report changes in patient health status. - Provide personal care such as bathing and dressing, assist with proper nutrition and adequate fluid intake, and patient home safety. - Provide specialized healthcare such as medication reminders, Hoyer lift/sliding board transfers. - Complete accurate documentation in a timely manner. Experience: - Must have Certified Nursing Assistant licensure in the State - One year working experience with licensure - Hoyer lift/sliding board/gait belt - Assist with bathing - Vital signs Performance Qualifications: - Honest, reliable and timely - Able to follow specific protocols of care - Cheerful disposition and excellent interpersonal skills. - Position requires bending, stooping and lifting/transferring up to 40 pounds - Reliable transportation, valid driver's license and automobile liability insurance - Current TB test (less than 1 year) or chest x-ray (less than 2 years) - Demonstrates company core values: Capable and Efficient, Dependable, Compassionate, Embrace Customer Service above all else, Embrace Change, and Do the Right Thing (integrity) - Bilingual is a plus This job is specific to Houston and its surrounding areas.
