Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Job Description
A Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) shall: Provide personal care services assigned by a registered nurse. Have the ability to perform in good health and not have physical limitations. Have the ability to to understand and carry out instructions and keep simple records. Have the ability to observe appearance and behavioral changes in patients and report to RN. Have written and verbal communication skills. Have the ability in measuring and recording all vitals and intake and output of fluids, Have the ability to perform basic infection control procedures, such as hand washing. Demonstrate professional behavior, attitude and flexibility. Have a caring, patient and understanding attitude. Have ability to travel. Assist patients in maintaining a clean and safe environment in homes.
