Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Job Description

The clients we work with offer flexible scheduling options, from immediate visits to 4,8,12-hour shifts and even live-in opportunities, so you can choose when, where, and how often you work. And as an independently contracted care provider, you'll have the freedom and autonomy to act as your own boss and set your own market rates. To register as a care provider, you must have the following: • Valid Driver's License or Photo ID • Social Security Card or Employment Tax ID Number • RN, LPN, CNA license, or Home Health Aide Certificate (40 hours minimum training) from a Florida Dept. of Education approved program • Level 2 background screening with ACHA fingerprints • Physical within (6) months that states you are FREE OF COMMUNICABLE DISEASES (cannot be signed by a Chiropractor) • CPR (American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or American Safety & Health Institute) • HIV/AIDS certificate (minimum 1 hour) • Alzheimer's/Dementia Certificate (1 HOUR) • (CNA/ HHA only) Assistance with Self-Administration of Medication (minimum 2 hours) • (LPN only) 30 hrs of IV infusion training (Optional) • Auto registration and auto insurance if providing transportation • Previous Employment/ Contract history for the last five years • Professional Liability Insurance (Strongly Suggested) • Occupational Accident Insurance (Strongly Suggested) We take pride in the care providers we register and refer to our clients, and we work in collaboration with hospitals, physicians, social workers, rehabilitation centers, and home health agencies to help our clients maintain the independent and active lifestyle they have enjoyed for so many years.
