Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Job Description
Alpha Allied Home Care is an independently owned and operated homecare provider located in West Palm Beach, FL. We are a licensed Home Health Agency (AHCA #299991425) servicing Palm Beach and Martin Counties. We are looking for reliable and compassionate individuals to join our team of caregivers.
We have an immediate need for a live-in caregiver in Stuart, FL. The client is a female in her 80s. She has moderate dementia but is otherwise healthy and happy. She lives in a lovely condo in Stuart, and caregiver will have their own room. Client will need help with ADLs, medication reminders, driving to appointments, grocery shopping, and other errands.
Caregivers will assist clients with the following daily tasks:
· Bathing, Dressing and Grooming
· Other Personal Care Requirements
· Medication Reminders
· Bathroom Assistance
· Light Housekeeping
· Cleaning and Mopping Kitchens, Common Areas and Bathrooms
· Washing, Drying, & Folding Laundry
· Grocery Shopping
· Companionship/Wellness activities
· Socializing with Clients
· Cooking/Meal Preparation
· Errands
· Transport to and from Shopping/Appointments
· Other Activities of Daily Living
Requirements:
· CNA License or HHA Certificate
· Level 2 Background Screening with AHCA (verified online)
· Certificates Required: HIV/AIDS Training, Assistance with Medications, Alzheimer, Domestic Violence, Infection Control, Medical Records, Medical Error Prevention
· Physical Exam and negative TB skin test or chest x-ray within the last year
· Florida Driver's license
· Social Security Card
· Auto insurance & Auto registration
