We are looking for compassionate Home Health Aides and Certified Nursing assistants to provide assistance in daily living and personal care services in patients' homes in accordance with an established care plan. We work hard at ensuring compatibility between our clients and our caregivers. Our caregivers deliver compassionate care from the heart of where our clients want to care for most- right in the comfort of their homes. Requirements include the following: Experience working through an agency or at a facility Home Health Certificate and/or CNA License HIV/AIDS in-service certificate of 2 hours or more (not older than 1 year) Domestic violence in-service certificate OSHA in-service certificate Alzheimer’s disease in-service certificate Assisting with self-medication in-service certificate Physical (not older than 6 months and must state “free from communicable disease” or no apparent sign or symptoms of communicable disease) TB test or chest x-ray (not older than 6 months) Valid CPR card/certificate Palm Beach County Caregiver Registration Badge OR Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Completion of state regulated training program; or have the equivalent verifiable training and experience Minimum of three months’ experience in a health care setting with hands-on client care Current or eligible for certification in CPR Must pass competency exam/evaluation Must have reliable transportation Current driver’s license Valid auto insurance if you are a driver Social Security card (must be original) Proof of eligibility to work in the United States Professional Liability insurance Level II background screening and clearance from AHCA is mandatorily required prior to being placed on assignments COVID vaccinated preferred If you meet all of these requirements and you are interested in interviewing with us, please contact the HR Department at 561-473-5723 or submit your resume. You can also join our team. https://www.healinghandshs.com/home-health-care-and-healthcare-staffing-join-our-team Responsibilities Provide health care services in patients' residences Perform domestic and household tasks Transport and accompany patients to doctors' office or to hospital Administer simple prescribed medications Assist with clients' personal care activities Monitor patients (vital signs, temperature, respiration, etc) and report on their condition Maintain patient care records and document provided services Assist patients with mobility and physical therapies/exercises Instruct and counsel patients and families on diet and exercise Collect routine specimens Provide companionship and basic emotional or psychological support Skills Proven working experience as a home health aide Ability to monitor vital signs and collect specimens Familiarity with basic nutrition and personal hygiene standards Proficiency in English Nursing and health care administration skills Caring and compassionate personality Current CPR certificate Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary, Contract
