Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Job Description
Job Summary Personal care activities that assist the client with activities of daily living which include (but are not limited to): Personal hygiene, bathing, dressing, assisting to bathroom or in using bedpan, grooming, care of mouth, skin, nails, and hair Ambulation assistance and help with prescribed range of motion exercises Self-administration of medication and/or use of health maintenance equipment Transferring, including moving in and out of bed and Mobility in and around the home and range of motion exercises Socializing with the client, Cooking, meal, and snack preparation, measuring and preparing special diets Running errands Transport to and from appointments, shopping and/or other activities Help with household related activities such as meal planning and preparation, dressing assistance, laundry, light housekeeping, and keeping the home neat and tidy. Dementia/Alzheimer’s Care Hospice Care Requirements and Skills Reliable transportation and Valid Insurance Must speak English fluently; bilingual is a plus! Ability to pass a nationwide background check and drug test. Current CPR & PPD/Chest X-Ray. The ability to follow-through and be on time with a smile to any shift you have committed to cover. Current TB Screening
