Overview: The Business Office Manager is responsible for the daily business office needs including coordinating all partner relations/Human Resources matters, payroll and other accounting functions. Full job description Duties and Functions: Responsible for all areas of Operations; human resources, intakes, clients, caregivers, scheduling Telephone calls and performs Intakes. Initiates the hiring process for caregivers including processing applications, background, screening, testing, interviewing, and reference validation. Orients caregivers and maintains all caregivers files in accordance with policies and procedures. Records employee information such as personnel data, compensation, benefits, tax data, attendance, performance reviews, evaluations, and termination date and reason. Enters, maintains, and corrects client, employee, payroll, billing and related data into the computer and maintains office supplies, forms and equipment. The right candidate will have: A minimum of two (2) years experience in home care and primarily scheduling and or supervision of schedulers A minimum of two (2) years management experience, preferably of paraprofessionals, with proven ability to build and lead teams The ability to interface effectively and professionally with clients and families A working knowledge of government contract management; knowledge of AXXESS Home Health Software preferred The ability to handle stressful situations with compassion, understanding and patience. Excellent decision making, negotiation, time management skills, and written and verbal communication skills Account Management skills Salary commensurate with experience and industry standards.
