Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Job Description

Job Summary
We are looking for a reliable, compassionate, and certified Caregiver to join our team. You will assist our residents with daily living activities, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being while maintaining a clean and positive living environment.
Key Responsibilities
Personal Care: Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
Mobility: Assist with transfers, walking, and positioning.
Medication: Provide medication reminders or assistance (as per Washington state delegation rules).
Daily Living: Prepare nutritious meals and provide light housekeeping/laundry.
Social Engagement: Engage residents in activities and companionship to support mental and emotional health.
Documentation: Maintain accurate daily logs and report any changes in resident health or behavior.
Qualifications
Certification: Active Washington State HCA (Home Care Aide) or CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) license.
Training: Current CPR/First Aid certification and Food Worker Card.
Background: Ability to pass a DSHS background check.
Skills: Strong communication skills and a patient, empathetic "people-first" attitude.
Experience: Previous experience in an AFH or memory care setting is preferred but not required.
