Full-Time | Part-Time Overnights: 10pm - 6am Key Accountabilities Resident Care Answers resident emergency calls promptly. Checks residents routinely to ensure that their personal care needs are being met. Assists residents with preparation and transport to/from appointments, activities, meals, and social programs as necessary. Assists residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADL’s); i.e. dental and mouth care, dressing/ undressing, hair care, toileting, personal hygiene, and other duties as directed. Lifts, turns, moves, positions, and transports residents into and out of beds, chairs, showers, etc. as necessary. Supports residents in walking with or without self-help devices as instructed. Aids residents in preparation for medical tests and doctor’s appointments as necessary. This includes proper completion of physician visit forms. Following Delegated Tasks Observes, documents, and reports all changes in residents’ condition to the RN as soon as practical. Reports all accidents and incidents and completes required documentation. Watches for and reports any changes in suite temperature, ventilation, lighting, etc. Customer Service Informs oncoming shift with any new resident conditions. Maintains a professional demeanor in demanding situations. Works collaboratively with team members and all staff to solve challenges encountered with resident and team needs. Requirements Follows all policies and procedures. Must be a minimum of sixteen (16) years of age. Must be able to relate information concerning residents’ condition. Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant action. Must receive a "not disqualified" criminal background result and may not be on the OIG exclusions list. Stays up to date on all required training. Understands and adheres to the Vulnerable Adult and Abuse Policy. Is familiar with the Resident’s Bill of Rights and adheres to it. Complies with state and federal HIPAA requirements.
