Job Description
Under the the direct supervision of a licensed nurse, performs individually assigned care activities for chronically ill and technologically dependent residents based on established care policies and procedures. Participates in resident care as an active member of the healthcare delivery team. Specific areas of responsibility include monitoring of resident vital signs, providing resident hygiene and comfort measures, assisting with medical procedures and fulfilling nutritional and grooming needs. Provides general direct nursing care to assigned residents.
Requirements
Licensure/Certification:
a. Current California Certified Nursing Assistant Certification
b. Current BCLS certification
