Position Overview This role is essential in creating a calm, welcoming, and inclusive environment where every member feels valued. You’ll help ensure that each individual’s dignity, preferences, and independence are honored, while fostering a space where both clients and their families feel supported and respected. Key Responsibilities • Provide compassionate support with personal care needs such as, but not limited to mobility assistance, toileting, and mealtime support, based on individual preferences. • Observe and thoughtfully document any changes in mood, behavior, or overall functioning. • Help keep the environment safe, clean, and welcoming by setting up and cleaning up. • Cultivate a positive, inclusive atmosphere for clients, caregivers, and family members. Qualifications • At least two (2) years of hands-on home care experience, including working with individuals with Dementia/Alzheimer’s and bed-bound clients. • Strong communication skills with a genuine passion for person-centered care. • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a close-knit team. • Must successfully pass DOJ/FBI background check and meet health clearance requirements. Schedule & Compensation • Schedule: Part-time; flexible weekday or weekend shifts based on program needs. • Location: San Diego, California • Compensation: salary range between $21-$23, based on experience.
