Compensation & Benefits:

Responsibilities:
Performs personal care activities contained in a written assignment which includes but is not limited to, assisting the client with activities of daily living, such as:
Personal hygiene (assisting to bathroom or in using bedpan, bathing, care of mouth, skin and hair)
Ambulation
Eating
Dressing
Bed baths & showers
Shaving (electric only)
Meal Preparation
Assisting with the use of devices for aid to daily living (cane, walker, wheelchair or lift device)
Monitoring vital signs (temperature, pulse, respirations and blood pressure)
Requirements:
· High school degree and/or a G.E.D. certificate
* Ability to lift 50 lbs
· Six months experience as a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aid (HHA) in a health care environment (in homes or facilities) and successful completion of a State approved CNA or HHA course
· Must have a sympathetic attitude toward the care of the sick, and ability to deal effectively with the demands of the job
· Passed a current Level ll background screening
· Current CPR Certificate is required or a willingness to complete the certification
· Meets the requirements for employees providing direct patient care
· Read, write, speak and understand English as needed for the job
· Have a valid driver’s license and use of an insured automobile for work
· Dependability and Reliability is needed for our clients
