Our office is located in Maitland, FL however we service patients in Brevard, Orange, Osceola, and Brevard counties.
Position Summary
We are seeking dedicated and Florida-certified CNAs to join our growing team of home health professionals. As a CNA with Alignment Healthcare Services, LLC, you will provide direct personal care and clinical support to clients in their homes, helping them maintain independence, dignity, and quality of life.
This is an independent contractor position. Flexible scheduling is available to accommodate your availability.
Responsibilities
• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs): bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Monitor and record vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, respirations, temperature)
• Assist with transfers, ambulation, and range-of-motion exercises
• Observe and report changes in client condition to the supervising RN or LPN
• Provide catheter care and assist with wound observation per care plan
• Monitor and document intake and output
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients and families
• Assist with light meal preparation and medication reminders
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided
• Adhere to agency policies, AHCA regulations, and client care plans
Requirements
• Current, active CNA certification in the State of Florida (required)
• Listed on the Florida Nurse Aide Registry with no disqualifying findings
• Minimum 1 year of CNA experience, home health experience preferred
• Level 2 background screening clearance
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Valid Florida driver's license and reliable transportation
• Proof of current auto insurance
• Negative TB test or chest X-ray within the past 12 months
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience working with elderly, post-surgical, or medically complex clients
• Bilingual (English/Spanish or English/Creole) a plus
• Familiarity with electronic visit verification (EVV) systems
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Demonstrated reliability, punctuality, and professional conduct
