LPN Job Title: LPN Department: Assisted Living Hours: Part Time: 11pm-7am Position Start Date: 5/17/2022 Description: • Ability to follow established standards of nursing practices and implement facility policies and procedures. • Ability to supervise and evaluate all the direct care and initiate corrective action if necessary. • Ability to direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants in accordance with current rules, regulations and guidelines that govern the long term care facility. Requirements: • Compliance with applicable health laws and regulations, including but not limited to those relating to COVID-19 and influenza vaccinations. • Current Licensure as Licensed Practical Nurse by the New Jersey Board of Nursing. • Previous experience in a Long Term Care Facility preferred • Ability to speak read and write English. • Must be able to move intermittently throughout the work day. • Must be able to cope with the mental and emotional stress of the position • Must possess sight/hearing senses or use prosthesis that will enable these senses to function adequately so that the requirements of this position can be fully met • Must be in good general health and demonstrate emotional stability. • Must be able to lift and move residents, equipment, supplies, etc. in excess of fifty (50) pounds.
