PCA Job Title: PCA Department: Assisted Living Hours: Part Time: 7am-3pm every other weekend Position Start Date: 5/17/2022 Description: • Ability to provide residents of the Assisted Living Residence with routine daily services in accordance with our established procedures and as may be directed by the Assisted Living Supervisor. • Ability to follow established performance standards and perform duties in accordance with established policies and procedures. • Ability to perform other related duties as directed by the Assisted Living Supervisor or Director of Nursing. Requirements: • Current Certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant or Certified Home Health Aide • Compliance with applicable health laws and regulations, including but not limited to those relating to COVID-19 and influenza vaccinations. • Previous experience in a Long Term Care Facility preferred • High School Diploma preferred • Ability to speak read and write English. • Must be able to move intermittently throughout the work day. • Must be able to cope with the mental and emotional stress of the position • Must possess sight/hearing senses or use prosthesis that will enable these senses to function adequately so that the requirements of this position can be fully met • Must be in good general health and demonstrate emotional stability. • Must be able to lift and move residents, equipment, supplies, etc. in excess of fifty (50) pounds.
