REGISTERED NURSE Job Title: RN Department: Nursing Status: FULL TIME Position Start Date: 5/17/2022 Description: Ability to follow established standards of nursing practices and implement facility policies and procedures. Ability to supervise and evaluate all the direct care and initiate corrective action as necessary. Ability to direct the day-to-day functions of the nursing assistants in accordance with current rules, regulations and guidelines that govern the long term care facility. Requirements: Current Licensure as Registered Nurse by the New Jersey Board of Nursing. Compliance with applicable health laws and regulations, including but not limited to those relating to COVID-19 and influenza vaccinations. Previous Experience in a long-Term Care facility preferred Ability to speak read and write English required. Must be able to move intermittently throughout the work day. Must be able to cope with the mental and emotional stress of the position Must possess sight/hearing senses or use prosthesis that will enable these senses to function adequately so that the requirements of the position can be fully met. Must be in good general health and demonstrate emotional stability. Must be able to lift and move residents, equipment, supplies, etc. in excess of fifty (50) pounds.
