Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. State of licensed practical nurse. 1. Provide performs a variety of duties to care and comfort for patients requiring medical services. 2. Uses specialized skills and judgment when delivering care to patients. 3 Skilled nurse implements and evaluates care while performing nursing procedures to treat and rehabilitate patients. Our nurses at Universal Home Health Care focus on: - Assuring the safety and physical comfort of the patient are met as well as the patient's emotional and spiritual needs. 4. Performing nursing procedures for which his or her training has provided the necessary skills and judgment. 5. Assisting with the rehabilitation of patients according to the care plan directed by the physician 6. Observing and recording all pertinent information and reporting to the appropriate supervisor and physician. 7. Teaching patients, families, and auxiliary nursing personnel proper health maintenance: primary treatments, wound care, cardiac and post op care, in-home infusion IV, indwelling catheter care, medication management, and patient teaching.
