The health services at Brevillier include, but not limited to, home care, hospice care, rehabilitation, and personal care. Classification: Full Time – Part Time Schedule: 8-hour shift and 12-hour shift – First shift, Second shift (2nd shift diff $2); Third shift (3rd shift diff $5); 12hr AM (7a-7:30p) and 12hr PM (7p-7:30a) Starting Rate: $24.00, experience increases entry level rate. Position Highlights: -Administer and record medications and reporting any adverse reactions or side effects. -Administer skilled treatments, perform procedures and document results. Report any unusual reactions or side effects and resident’s tolerance to treatment or procedure. -Assist attending physicians or care providers with examinations and procedures. -Ensure that all Doctor's orders are carried out promptly and accurately. Notify POA and Physician of any changes. -Ensure that physicians complete required paperwork. -Monitor nurse aide work assignments and ensure that they are done properly. -Report and record any change in habits, appearance or attitudes of residents, notifying D.O.N., RNAC, IC Nurse, Therapy and other appropriate persons. -Assist in evaluating work performance of nurse aides, nursing procedures and work rules on the unit as well as completing commendations, contacts and coaching’s as needed. -Complete lab requisitions, consult sheets, X ray’s requisitions, appointment transfer sheets and any other forms assigned by the D.O.N. Education and Experience: -Requires graduation from approved LPN educational program. -Requires a state license to practice.
