Big Lake Country Club, LLC, is located on 40 acres of trees, complete with all the rural lifestyle perks. We have openings for DAYS (7am-3pm) and SWING (3pm-11pm) shifts, full or part-time, and on-call positions. All you need is compassion and the desire to help clients with their life skills. We are willing to train you, and help you be successful at this job. Big Lake Country Club is dedicated to the highest quality standards of excellence and care in the assisted living community. Our program provides supported living for individuals who experience developmental disability, mental illness and other challenges to independent living. The clients all bathe, dress and feed themselves, they just require supervision and direction. We supply 24-hour staff and supervision for our homes, each with 3 clients per home. JOB DESCRIPTION: Assisting clients with activities of daily living - such as preparing meals, dressing, bathing, cleaning their rooms, laundry, money management and having fun. Our therapeutic activities include: horse riding, fishing, boating, recreational center (movies, video games, puzzles, pool table, etc.), attending their doctor appointments, shopping, etc. Routine safety checks on each client and their rooms, prepping for the next day's activities, charting progress notes and other duties in/around the facility. JOB REQUIREMENTS: Honesty, professionalism, flexibility, patience, compassion, commitment, respect, trust, ambition, punctuality and a positive, fun attitude. You must be at least 18 years old.
