Med Techs Needed ASAP! **Texas Medication Aide Certification Required** Full-Time 8-hour shifts available immediately, Shift times available are 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm & 10pm-6am in the Austin and surrounding counties. Come in and apply: Monday through Friday from 9AM till 4PM.- Prepare to be here for 2 hours. (You will be paid for Orientation time on your first paycheck) NO APPOINTMENT REQUIRED! Location: 1823 Fortview Rd. Suite 101, Austin TX 78704 What you should bring: Valid ID/DL, social security card/Birth Certificate and $5.00(CASH) to process your background check. Job Responsiblities: Preparing and administering medications according to the Medication Administration Record (MAR). Ordering, receiving, and completing inventory of supplies and medications to ensure supplies are always available Assisting in updating each resident's individual service plan as requested. Patient care in accordance with the care plan for each patient which could include the following caregiver duties: Dressing, Grooming Shower Assistance Medication Supervision Evacuation Walks Escorting Residents to Activities Reporting Health Status Concerns Meal Prep / Tray Service / Service of Meals Laundry Service Light housekeeping Other duties as assigned. Requirements: Minimum of 6 months experience as a nurse aide or caregiver Current certification as required by State Regulations 12 months experience administering medications preferred Proficient communication in verbal and written English.
