Registered Nurse (RN) Job Description
As a PRN Registered Nurse (RN), you will play a vital role in ensuring that our clients receive the highest standard of care. You will be responsible for conducting assessments, supervising caregiver visits, and providing training to our team of caregivers. This position is ideal for RNs who are looking for flexible work hours and wish to make a meaningful impact in the lives of others. **Key Responsibilities:** 1. **Assessments:** - Conduct assessments of new clients, including evaluating their medical history, physical and emotional health, and specific care needs. - Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with caregivers and family members. - Monitor clients’ health status and reassess care plans as necessary to ensure effectiveness. 2. **Supervisory Visits:** - Perform regular supervisory visits to assess the care provided by caregivers and ensure adherence to established care plans. - Provide feedback and recommendations to improve caregiver performance and client outcomes. - Document findings from visits and maintain accurate records in compliance with agency policies. 3. **Caregiver Skills Training:** - deliver training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of caregivers, focusing on best practices in personal care, safety, and client interaction. - Mentor and support caregivers in providing compassionate care, ensuring they feel confident and competent in their roles. - Stay updated on industry best practices and regulatory requirements regarding caregiver training and client care. 4. **Communication and Collaboration:** - Foster strong relationships with clients, caregivers, and family members to enhance the overall care experience. - Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and agencies involved in the care of clients as needed. - Provide education and resources to clients and families about health management and available services. **Qualifications:** - Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license. Be - Strong assessment and clinical skills, with the ability to develop and implement individualized care plans. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively train and motivate caregivers. - Self-motivated and organized, with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively. - CPR and First Aid certification preferred. - Knowledge of state and federal regulations related to home care is a plus.
