Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Job Description
CNA/Caregiver Hourly Rates Range: $15.00/hr - $18.00 based on experience

We are looking for a compassionate CNAs/Caregivers to provide assistance in daily living and personal care services for our clients on a Part Time to Full Time schedule!
Schedule: Part Time/Full Time opportunities available - 1st/2nd and Weekends

CNA/Caregiver Job Responsibilities:
- Provide health care services in clients' residences
- Perform domestic and household tasks (i.e.. meal preparation/clean up, light housekeeping/laundry)
- Transport and/or accompany clients to medical appointments or running errands
- Assist with clients personal care activities (i.e.. bathing, dressing, assistance with toileting/ambulation)
- Monitor clients (vital signs, temperature, respiration, etc.) and report on their condition to the Director of Nursing, accordingly
- Maintain clients care records and document provided services
- Assist clients with mobility and therapy exercises
- Provide companionship, engaging conversation, and basic emotional or psychological support
- Participate in activities with clients: (i.e) play games/cards, go for walks/drives, etc.
CNA/Caregiver Skills:
- Proven working experience as CNA/Caregiver
- Ability to monitor vital signs
- Familiarity with basic nutrition and personal hygiene standards
- Proficiency in English
- Nursing and health care administration skills
- Caring and compassionate personality
- Current, active CPR certificate
- First Aid training
- Valid driver’s license
- Minimum High school degree or GED certificate

CNA/Caregiver Expectations:
- Providing care as directed by a Director of Nursing, including but not limited to: bathing, grooming, oral care, dressing, undressing, toileting activities, taking and recording vital signs, and assisting with height and weight measurements, if necessary
CNA/Caregiver Requirements:
- A current, CNA state certification in the State of North Carolina and in good standing
- An unlicensed Caregiver is in good standing
- High school diploma or GED
- Certified CPR with American Heart Association and Red Cross
- Negative TB skin test within 1 yr or chest x-ray within 5 yrs
- Minimum one (1) year of documented experience working in the role applying to is required
- Licensed driver with current auto insurance and reliable automobile to get to work and provide transportation assistance to our clients
- Must be able to stand walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push and pull. Varied assistance is required depending on the mobility of the client. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
