Registered Nurse (RN) Job Description
Qualifications: -Valid RN license in GA -Minimum 1 years of experience working as an RN in pediatric tracheostomy and ventilator care -Familiarity with caring for children and young adults with special needs, including developmental disabilities and complex medical conditions -Proficiency in tracheostomy care, ventilator management, and related procedures -Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams -Ability to remain calm and composed in high-stress situations and handle emergency situations with confidence -Dedication to providing quality care and improving the lives of pediatric patients with special needs -Vent and Trach: 2 years (Required) REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION -GA RN License -CPR/BLS -Current TB Test Responsibilities: -Provide comprehensive nursing care to pediatric patients with tracheostomies and ventilators, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being -Administer medication, monitor vital signs, and assess patient responses to treatments and interventions -Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans -Perform tracheostomy care, suctioning, and ventilator management, following established protocols and best practices -Educate and train patients' families on tracheostomy and ventilator care techniques, enabling them to provide care at home -Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation Benefits: -Pay $45 - $50 Hour -We offer flexible schedules, and a supportive work environment Ability to Relocate: Work Location: In person
