Personal Care Assistant (PCA) Job Description
A Helping Hand Home Care provides in-home services to clients in Gainesville and the surrounding areas of Northeast Georgia. We are a non-medical, in-home, caregiving agency and our mission is to enable our clients to live happy, healthy, and independent lives in the comfort and familiarity of their homes. A Helping Hand Home Care offers: Supportive and accommodating staff Competitive pay with direct deposit Time-and-a-half pay for overtime and holidays Flexible schedules and matching caregivers with nearby clients Employee recognition 401K *for eligible employees Life Insurance *for eligible employees Caregivers will: Provide attention to clients’ non-medical needs, including companionship and social engagement Assist client with light housekeeping, meal preparation and medication reminders Assist with personal care, dressing, grooming and getting in and out of bed or chair Establish communication and a professional relationship with clients, family members, and co-workers Provide reliable care by being punctual and consistently covering shifts Qualifications & Requirements: Have one year of caregiving experience or equivalent in relevant field 18 years of age CPR/First Aid certification Evidence of a negative Tuberculosis (TB) test Pass a national background check A valid driver's license, Proof of car insurance/registration Undergo written and practical Personal Care Attendant testing Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, PRN Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Salary: $10.00 to $12.00 /hour
