Registered Nurse (RN) Job Description
DAY IN THE LIFE OF A RN CLINICAL COORDINATOR: As a RN clinical coordinator, you will be focused on supervising clinical team-members in the delivery of high-quality and efficient health care. The Clinical Coordinator will spend time walking the floors, supervising staff, checking physician's orders and labs, and helping our team to learn new skills. Each day, the Coordinator will use critical thinking skills and a positive team attitude to ensure that the care delivery is consistent with the mission and vision of Cedar Haven Healthcare Center, where we are dedicated to the well-being of our residents and the professionalism of our facility. This includes mentoring and educating nurses, working with physicians and other medical professionals, and serving as a resource and support to all staff regarding the quality of services provided. The Clinical Coordinator will report to the Director of Nursing, Assistant Director of Nursing, and Executive Director. WORK SCHEDULE FOR A RN CLINICAL COORDINATOR: Our Evening or Night RN Clinical Coordinator is a full-time position that works evening (3-11pm) or night (11-7am) shifts. RN CLINICAL COORDINATOR POSITION REQUIREMENTS: - Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing with an active Pennsylvania RN license - One year of clinical experience is required - Long-term care or geriatric experience is preferred
