I’ve consistently been impressed with this facility each time I visit. It is always clean and well-maintained. The staff are welcoming, kind, and create a warm environment. The social worker and admissions team are both exceptional—responsive, compassionate, and professional. The nursing staff clearly love what they do and genuinely care about their patients. It’s evident that the team here is dedicated to providing high-quality care.
Sandia Ridge was great for my Mom after a knee replacement. The CNA's were fantastic especially Bobby. Med tech, Nurses and Therapy Team are outstanding. I thank them all so much for providing the best care. The Housekeeping staff led by Joe keeps the building so clean. She is home now and doing well.
I recently toured this facility and have nothing but good things to say about Sandia Ridge Center! The staff is competent, friendly, and appear to care very much about their residents and seem to really like their job. The facility is well lit and clean. The dementia unit is colorful and cheery and safe for those who need the most care sometimes. I would not hesitate to have any of my relatives there.
I’ve seen improvements at Sandia Ridge in their Service. Sundays are the exception since it’s not always fully staffed. Also when calling, It’s hard to get through to talk to a resident or make arrangements to pick him up. I still have concerns with properly dressing him in clothes for church on Sundays or just warm pants. The nurse aides are very nice and come to help when I can find them. I buy new pants to accommodate Sundays. Also, the people at the front desk do not look at you when you talk to them. They keep their heads down. I feel this is disrespectful. There are many great nurses and staff. Dylan is amazing and treats residents with the respect and dignity they deserve.
My mother has been at Sandia Ridge Center for about eight months. She had a stroke last year that left her unable to walk and unable to tend to her every day needs . She has been very happy with the service and hospitality here at Sandia Ridge Center. The personal have been very professional. They work long hours and along with all the pressure , they still preform their job with a smile. They also address issues that arise quickly. They provide great care and comfort to all their residents. Sandia Ridge Center is kept very clean. The custodians keep the rooms clean and disinfected as well as the whole facility on a daily basis. The nurses, cna's and the therapist have many hard tasks to perform in their daily routine. I know very well , because I visit my mother every day. Personally , I'm happy with Sandia Ridge Center.
