This place needs a serious overhaul in their management of nurses and aids! My opinion is I would never want to go here for any reason because nobody knows what they are supposed to do and if they do they are lazy! My sister waits sometimes hours to get changed and night is the worst the aids have at times yelled at her for turning on her light , she just wants to be cleaned! If I didn’t go ther everyday to see what’s going on she would be neglected even more. They can’t even get all the dirty stuff in the garbage, everyday I’m cleaning up used gloves and sticky’s from diapers , picking up wipe packages that are tossed around the room mostly in the floor somewhere it’s disgusting! All she wants is to be close to her family on her last days and comfortable otherwise I would move her somewhere else! The food is total junk! Mostly starchy carbs a speck of protein if that how could anyone ever get better here? I feel so sorry for the real long term people here…..
Well thought out programs to keep the residents busy. It is clear the staff recognize how important the people they care for are to loved ones and I appreciate it.
Disappointing and Concerning Experience – Would Not Recommend I truly wish I could leave a glowing review because there are some wonderful nurses and CNAs at this facility. However, their efforts are overshadowed by others who fall short of basic professionalism—frequently chatting about personal lives, sitting on their phones, and showing little urgency or awareness, even when call bells are ringing. If they’re on break, it’s incredibly disheartening to see them lounging in sight of residents who need help. The overnight care, particularly from the night of July 3rd into the 4th, was severely lacking. It took over an hour to get help for my husband. Worse yet, a week later, he called me to say no one had responded to his call for over an hour again. I had to call the facility myself to get him assistance. That delay is dangerous and completely unacceptable—what if he had fallen or choked? Cleanliness is another major issue. The carpets were sticky and stained, with soiled laundry often tossed directly onto them instead of into proper bags. I repeatedly asked for cleaning, but it never happened. This is basic hygiene, and it simply wasn’t being met. The facility also appears ill-equipped to handle medical concerns. Despite my repeated urgent requests to see a doctor for my husband, he was only seen once in two weeks. I ultimately had to rush him to the hospital myself in a wheelchair—where we discovered he had a brain hemorrhage. The lack of proper care and oversight at this center likely contributed to his rapid decline. He is now back at UW Hospital in Seattle, and we will not be returning to this facility. It’s heartbreaking—I had high hopes that this center would support his recovery, but instead, it became a source of further harm and distress.
Very negligent! My family member was sent out to the hospital and the nurse from the hospital said that their blood sugar was over 1000 or so high that the hospitals’ glucometer would not read! The nurse called the rehab center asking for 4 days of blood sugar readings and they told the nurse at the hospital that none were taken and no insulin was given!!!!!!! My husband made sure this place knew of his diabetes upon admission! The hospital was doing hourly checks on his bs and giving him iv insulin. The hospital also said he was not responsive upon arriving. And he spent almost 2 weeks in the hospital! All of this could have been prevented by giving him his insulin and meds! Once again very negligent. What kind of place runs like this?! I am surprised it’s still open. I see more negative than positive reviews! I WOULD RATHER DIE IN THE STREET THAN RECOMMEND ANYONE BE ADMITTED HERE!
My dad spent about a month in this rehab facility to recover from a post hospitalization issues. They were nice, professional and very helpful. They took care of all his needs during the time he spent there. The PT team is ready good and know what they're doing. Nursing team is also very good and they managed his medical monitoring and medicine accurately. He was happy being there and made many friends with the team!
