MARIETTA CENTER FOR NURSING AND HEALING

My great aunt resides here.The staff and management have consistently gone above and beyond. From our previous long term care experience( which was not good) , they have superseded our expectations. I feel that we couldn’t have made a better choice.

My mom was in rehab there. The building is undergoing updating it appears and my mom was in the more updated area. The environment was pleasing there. I found the staff, Avery, Diamond, Kayla, Jade, Merle and many others in South wing to be very friendly. The biggest issue I had was proactive information sharing regarding my mom’s stays. However when I chased it down there was responsiveness. I would recommend the facility but definitely develop rapport with staff to get the best experience.

I am pleased with my experience here at Marietta Center for Nursing and Healing. The CNAs are helpful and attentive, the nurses are also helpful and attentive, The administrative and support staff are capable, efficient and helpful. And everyone has been friendly. I am here for rehab following a hospital stay and I'm not sick now, so I can't speak to response time for a sick person but response time to me has been pretty good. The food is adequate and some of it is good. Most of it I can eat and that's not something I can say about most other places..That's high praise actually. The building is old but is undergoing renovation currently. I didn't really want to come here because of the online reviews, but if you look at the dates, the bad ones are pretty old and almost all of the new ones are high praise, which I believe is deserved at this point in time. I am happy and content, and glad that I came here. I just realized I forgot to mention the physical therapy staff. The physical therapy I've received has been good. The therapists are caring and helpful and give me a really hard workout which is what I need and I'm happy with them too. I'm glad that I did come here despite the old negative reviews.

Everyone is so nice & so attentive. I really love Monique in Physical Therapy. She is very good & thorough and you can tell she loves what she does.I also really love Best, one of our CNA's. She is so smart and so friendly and so attentive. She is gentle and very good at what she does. You can tell she has a very caring heart for her Patients and their families.

We had to have my dad transferred to Marietta Center for health and nursing after he was discharged from the hospital because he was unable to walk on his own. While there they were able to help him regain strength enough to walk with his walker to the bathroom and also up and down the hallway. Also, while he was there, they worked with his physical strength in his arms and shoulders. I brought him home yesterday from the center, and he is doing very well. I would like to thank all of the nursing staff who did a great job of making him feel at home. He is a jokester and can be a bit irritable at times but they handled it with no problem. LOL.
