My brother is currently in this place. Not only is it a horrible place to get care but management and the director of nursing are a joke! She doesn’t care and is very grumpy about having to talk to family when confronted about the “care” people receive. I asked to talk to her the other day and as I’m watching her in her office on her phone she claimed she was busy but would call me back… 3 days later still no call. I ask to talk to numerous people and get passed around like a hackey sack! My brother has had to file numerous grievances about his care, or lack there of. His wound doesn’t get cleaned or changed every day as it should be. So he’s on his 3rd infection. Staph especially. Just recently this place was on the front page of the newspaper for 47 health violations, neglect and abuse. With $180,000 in fines. Oh, also to add they’re remolding. Use that money to go for the residents they neglect. Disgusting place. DO NOT put your loved one’s in this hell hole
TERRIBLE PLACE. This place needs to be shut down. The workers do NOT care about ANY patients, the workers treat them like Psychiatric patients, not taking anything they say seriously and not listening. My dad was in there for a femur fracture to get rehabilitation, fell twice no one found him but his roommate each time, had to be rushed to ER both times, beds don't work half the time. The food is the cheapest most disgusting slop they give the poor patients, sometimes you wont even get food if you or the patient cant make it to the dining room. Some doctor / nurse came in at one time trying to get my dad to sign off to "not resuscitate" because it "would be better with his condition for him to die instead of getting broken ribs from CPR..." I hate this place with all of my heart.
My wife recently spent 8 days at Spokane Falls Care. The experience couldn't have been more positive. All the staff with whom we interacted were extremely patient, kind and professional. They truly cared for her and worked to insure she received the care she needed and led to her discharge home. Highly recommend.
Spokane Falls Care is making great strides in improving both the quality of care and the overall environment. During my visit, the facility was clean, the food was well-prepared, and the staff were engaged and seemed genuinely happy to be there. It’s clear that positive changes are underway, and I look forward to seeing their continued progress. Keep up the great work!
This is a fantastic place to work. I have had the privilege of working here for a year now and wanted to update my review. We have a fantastic Administrator named Danni who is dedicated to changing the image here at Spokane Falls for the positive, both for the residents who live here and the staff that work here. This building feels like a family and I couldn't be happier to call Caldera Care my employer. I highly recommend this facility both for your loved ones or for a potential employer. Things have changed for the better this past year and it has been great to watch the positive changes take place.
