Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Caregiver to join our team at our residential care facility for the elderly. Assist residents during meals and ensure their dining experience is comfortable and enjoyable. Recreational Activities: Plan and facilitate recreational activities, exercises, and social gatherings to promote mental and physical stimulation. Encourage participation and tailor activities to residents' interests and abilities. Medical Coordination: Collaborate with the nursing and medical staff to provide comprehensive care and address residents' medical needs. Escort residents to medical appointments and communicate relevant information to healthcare professionals. Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of residents' care plans, activities, and observations. Document any changes in residents' conditions and report concerns to appropriate personnel. Housekeeping and Environment: Ensure residents' living areas are clean, comfortable, and organized. Perform light housekeeping tasks, laundry, and maintain a tidy environment. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in caregiving, especially in an elderly care or assisted living setting, is highly desirable. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Empathy, patience, and the ability to provide emotional support to residents and their families. Knowledge of elderly care practices, including personal hygiene, mobility assistance, and medication administration. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
