Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Job Description
We are searching for a full time Home Care Aide/CNA for Hospice and Home Health to join our team!! **$500.00 SIGN ON BONUS** Partners In Care is proud to be Central Oregon’s only independent, non-hospital based, not-for-profit home health and hospice organization. We’ve been certified by Medicare to offer Home Health services since 1986 and Hospice services since 1979. Combining both services allows us to offer the most comprehensive home care in Central Oregon. The Certified Nursing Assistant is a paraprofessional member of the interdisciplinary team who works under the supervision of a registered nurse or therapist. The aide practices within the scope of their practice defined by the State Board of Nursing and adheres to the plan of care. The aide is responsible for observing the patient, documenting, and reporting to the care manager the patient's status. Requirements Educational requirements include a Certified Nursing Assistant licensed by the Oregon Board of Nursing. CPR certification, valid Oregon driver’s license and/or reliable transportation with current auto insurance as applicable, and Home Health Aide certification provided by employer. Ideal candidates will possess 1-2 years of home care experience. Bilingual desired. Schedule Full-time (32- 40 hours week). Normal Shifts are Monday through Friday 8am – 5pm. You may be called upon to flex your hours (up or down) to meet the needs of the business. Additionally, you may be required to assist in providing on-call coverage to patients/families when necessary, and as assigned by the Supervisor.
