Direct Support Professional /DSP/ CNA

Job description: Job Overview We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professional (DSP) to join our team in providing exceptional care and support to individuals with diverse needs. Duties Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting to ensure comfort and dignity Support individuals with developmental disabilities, A, and other cognitive impairments through personalized care plans and goals Monitor any changes in health condition. Assist with medications following prescribed schedules and document Provide transportation for appointments or community outings by driving safely and responsibly Use specialized equipment such as Hoyer lifts to assist with mobility and transfers safely if needed Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs while maintaining cleanliness in kitchen areas Requirements Prior experience working with individuals with developmental disabilties in a home & community care environments is highly desirable Ability to complete person centered training and documentation at all visits Ability to assist with ADLs and provide personal care with compassion and professionalism Certification or training in first aid and CPR is advantageous; ongoing training will be provided if needed Strong communication skills to effectively interact with residents, families, and team members Valid driver’s license for transportation duties; clean driving record preferred Experience with EVV/electronic verifications systems example Therap.
