ABOUT COASTAL INJURY CARE CENTER Coastal Injury Care Center is a 24-hour team of multidisciplinary physicians, nurses, and therapists offering short- and long-term inpatient care. We fulfill prescribed rehabilitation therapies for individuals who are chronically disabled, have been severely injured, or require respiratory support. Our complex case management services allow all of our patients' providers to be on the same page about their care. We provide a wide variety of services based on the individual needs of the patient, including medication management, pulmonary care, psychosocial support, rehabilitation, dietary care, and more. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A CERTIFIED NURSE ASSISTANT (CNA) As a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA), you provide routine daily nursing care and services to our residents. You create an atmosphere of warmth, personal interest, and positivity for each individual you interact with throughout the day. When new residents arrive, you prepare a room for them and help them feel welcome by making their beds, introducing them to their roommates, and managing their personal belongings. Depending on the needs of your assigned residents, you assist with bathing, shaving, cleaning, measuring basic biometrics, and other general nursing tasks. You communicate clearly with your supervisor, keeping them informed of any changes to a resident's condition and alerting them to any issues that need their attention. You also communicate regularly with your residents, ensuring that their needs are all being met. Your satisfaction comes from helping others and growing your nursing career. QUALIFICATIONS FOR A CERTIFIED NURSE ASSISTANT (CNA) • CNA certification in the state of California • Possession of the knowledge and skills necessary to provide appropriate care to our residents • Ability to routinely perform physically strenuous tasks • 10th-grade education minimum • Verbal and written English proficiency Are you tactful, communicative, and patient?
